Tony Ray Jones new CD
I have had it on my heart to do
a CD project for about four years now, as
life has had it's ups and downs thru the years, I have had a chance to
express it in song, revealing my feelings from my own personal triumphs and
failures. This CD has been painful as well as sometimes funny. Over the past
12 years as my life has changed for the better emotionally, spiritually and
hopefully wiser. These songs reflect where I have been and where I’m at now
in my life.
It has been 15 years since my last album
"Three Wishes".
I moved back to Nashville Jan 2003 with plans to maybe get back into the
music from a different approach this time. More as a songwriter but still
performing with the desire to get out and play for folks, but the song
writing has allowed me to meet some really gifted people and help me improve my
songwriting skills.
This CD is a kind sneak peek
at a collection of personal and inspirational material in collaboration with my
good friends & co writers
Tammy Vice, Daniel Kliendenst,
& John Swaim. Thanks to
Larry Marrs @ Marrs recording
for all his valuable and inspiring input thru out the project not to mention
timeless mixing effort to get it right ! thanks Larry.
Thank you all for your desire to help me get this CD project to become a
reality. Tony
Ray
Thanks to all the musicians who played on this project

Kimberly
Bibb-Marrs is a great
talent and fiddler who does a very nice job on 8 well-chosen fiddle tunes &
medleys, like Black & White Rag ,Spotted Pony. She is also an very
good singer, tackling such songs as I’ll Take The Blame,
and That's My Job, but the strength of the disc is the fiddling: Marty
Stuart on mandolin is among those providing solid acoustic accompaniment
here. CD: Kimberly Bibb- Marrs Far From Home 2002. Kim thanks for your great fiddle work on the Driven By Love Project.
